About Us

Life's Great Experience Acupuncture was founded by Laura Ellis. She had a niece who suffered from chronic migraines. After missing over 100 days of school and trying multiple prescription drugs without success she tried acupuncture.

Within 4 months she went from having migraines every other day to having a migraine once or twice a year. This intrigued Laura who then began her quest to study alternative medicine and acupuncture.

Acupuncture quickly became a passion, so she studied at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture where she graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture.  She also studied at the University of Chengdu in China. While in school she volunteered in Rishikesh, India to help underserved people.  She went on to obtain a specialty in healing eyes with herbal medicine and acupuncture using the Micro Acupuncture 48 technique.

Her passion to assist others in living a healthy life eventually resulted in opening Life's Great Experience Acupuncture. Each session at Life's Great Experience Acupuncture begins with a thorough review of the patient.
